At every opportunity, we take a stand. We strive to represent a voice for the underrepresented groups in technology. Especially for those we identify with; Women, Lesbians, Latinx, Disabled, Trans & Gender Nonconforming (TGNC) people and those with Anxiety or Depression.How: We make our voice heard with Salesforce leadership, at Dreamforce, in the partner community, the trailblazer community, the local chamber of commerce, a variety of LGBT Conferences & on social media. We ask the questions others don’t, raise awareness and speak up. We donate to causes that support underrepresented groups, such as Women Who Tech, Women Who Dev, Transgender Law Center, and Lesbians Who Tech.Next Our efforts do not stop there, our goal is to raise enough money so ITequality can fund a nonprofit tutoring cafe to open in 2020. This would provide a sanctuary for LGBT, homeless & at risk teens after school and provide food, mentorship, homework help and career counseling.
