Chatter Unfollow Rules

When you or your users create new records, they automatically follow the records. However, many records have a limited useful Chatter life such as when a case or opportunity closes. Also, there's currently a 500 following limit for each user.

The Chatter Unfollow Rules app makes it easy to create rules that save everyone in your org from those issues! Create rules to remove followers from records that match your criteria.

Example rules:

• Unfollow closed cases 10 days after they close
• Remove all followers from closed opportunities 5 days after they close
• Stop following leads with 555 in the phone number
• Unfollow contacts without @ in the email address
• Remove followers on opportunities less than $1000

This app is perfect for any company that uses opportunities, cases, leads, accounts, contacts or custom objects. It supports almost all standard and all custom objects.

Note that you cannot unfollow people with this app - that would be mean :(
