Ideas for Community (Lightning component)

The Ideas for Community provides an easy and intuitive way for community members to exchange Ideas, vote for favourite Idea, comment, like comment. This package installs a set of lightning components that can be used to create a new Ideas, voting, comments, and other activity.

Requires Ideas to be active in your community, and Idea Zones to be created for your community.

Setup Instructions -

• Create/assign Zone under setup -> Ideas -> Idea Zone and select show in the community
• Navigate to Community builder
• Create new pages:
• --> Ideas (Standard Page)
• --> Post Idea (Standard Page)
• --> Idea Details (Record Detail)
• Add Lightning component called "Idea List" to Ideas content section from Page Editor section
• Similarly add Post Idea, Idea Details to their respective pages.

For Idea details page in Winter 16 release org or greater, select the second template (Create Object Pages) and select Salesforce Object as Ideas. Delete all the standard template sections and add idea details lightning component to it.

NOTE: Update the idea details and Post Idea page URLs in the Idea List component's properties pane.

• Publish the changes
