SalesWIP

The SalesWIP leverages the knowledge of individual sales professionals who intuitively understand better than anyone how their own customers operate, and how the opportunities they are developing with those customers will evolve. Ultimately, those reps know best about how the revenue from those opportunities will come in on a monthly basis. Users work from the top down, starting with the global value of an opportunity - and breaking it down by products and expected monthly revenue for each of those products. Users build monthly revenue profiles by selecting a general revenue profile for the products, and selecting an increasingly nuanced shape for that expected revenue by clicking on a series of increasingly detailed graphic images. This approach is simple, accurate, and always available. The SalesWIP includes a monte carlo forecast engine which creates scenarios of possible revenue ranges. This approach provides a specific level of confidence to support such strong statements as: “We are 82% sure that we will meet or exceed "X" revenue dollars in future period "Y".
