In 2016, an agency owner in Cleveland, Ohio said: "enough is enough." He was frustrated with the state of insurance technology and the lack of innovation. He had duct-taped together over 20 different pieces of technology. He had answered the "insurtech call-to-arms." But he still couldn't reach the promised land of efficiency and experience everyone spoke of.
So, he decided to build it himself.
In late 2017, he platformed his agency....and neon was born. In 2019, 15 just-as-frustrated agencies who saw the vision agreed to pilot neon in their agencies. And in 2020, 6 pilot carriers began the journey.
