Unleash Your Formula

Unleash Your Formula is based on a simple concept: by copying and syncing Formula fields to "Static" (i.e. non-formula) fields, we preserve all the advantages of formula fields with none of the limitations.

These are some of the benefits.

1. An expanded set of tools to trigger Workflow, Flows, Process Builder or Apex Triggers.

For example, you can set a formula field to be true if it’s a contacts birthday today. and then trigger a flow annually on the contact's birthday.

2. Effectively surpass formula character limits.

If you run into the 5k character limit, you can break up your Formula into multiple Formulas that each reference the *static* mapped formula fields. The system will know to process it in the order of dependencies.

3. Ability to create rollup summaries that include formulas that reference other objects

If a rollup summary needs to sum or filter by a formula field that has a relationship, you can use this mapping to circumvent this limitation.

4. Search by formula fields and speed up existing search.

Simply mapping and using the static field allows you to search by any formula field. You can also index the static field to speed up searches.
