The Salesloft Data Sync app is the official Salesforce managed package that powers the integration between Salesloft and your Salesforce org. As Salesforce transitions away from legacy Connected Apps, this package is required for all Salesloft customers who rely on Salesforce CRM sync.
What It Does:
The ECA establishes a secure, OAuth-based connection between Salesloft and Salesforce. Once installed, it enables admins to connect the primary CRM sync, and allows individual users to authenticate their personal Salesforce connection—needed for activity logging and deal tracking.
How It Works:
Installation is handled by a Salesforce Admin. After installing the managed package from the AppExchange, admins configure the connector in Salesloft Settings, and users complete a one-time authentication step to reestablish their individual CRM connection.
