AWS Live Streaming
The Salesforce B2C Live streaming cartridge facilitates seamless live streaming experiences for merchants and storefront customers. To begin, merchants can access Custom Preferences in Business Manager and fill the fields rc_recordingconfigArn, rc_aws_accesskey, and rc_aws_secretkey to obtain credentials from AWS. Moving to the Merchant Tools section, merchants can navigate to AWS Live Streaming and find the option to Create Channel. Within this interface, the merchant will see a list of products, each accompanied by a Create Channel button. Selecting any product of choice, the merchant can click the Create Channel button to initiate the live stream.
Highlights
- The merchant can give live product demonstrations on respective product detail pages, showcasing the features and benefits of their products to customers.
- If the storefront customer misses the live streaming, he/she can view the recorded video of the product on the respective product detail page.
