• Migration Flow: Manual migration consists of a 3-step process: retrieve metadata, create permission set, and preview permission set. Users can select specific metadata items to add to the permission set during manual migration.
• Automatic migration involves migrating profile permissions to permission sets for various metadata types like Apex classes, objects, etc. The application will automatically migrate profile permissions and creates permission sets for each metadata.
• User Assignment Flow: After creating permission sets, users can assign Permission Set(s)/ Permission Set Group(s) to users in a 2-step process.
• The assignment flow includes choosing permission sets or groups and selecting users to assign the permission sets. Users have the flexibility to choose the specific permission sets or permission set groups to add to individual users.
• Migration Tracking: Migration tracking will help analyse and track the migration process. It can help you track the status of the migraiton for a profile that in Inprogress,Not Started and Completed.
• Migration Validation: Migration validation will help you validate the metadata that the user is assigned to for a given user in the org. You can validate the Field permission, Object Permissions and other metadata permissions that are assigned to a user.
